During iExplore time I sat with Momo and Angkor looking at the alphabet bean bags, together we created a game where we would take turns showing the letter then racing to name it and a word that starts with that letter. After we had used all the bean bags I asked if they could put them in alphabetical order. Together Momo and Angkor began sorting the bean bags. Angkor was identifying words that started with the letter they were up too. When Angkor got to the letter L he told me he knew a song all about it. I asked him to sing it for me (See the link below). Angkor was able to recite the song that uses alliteration and instructs on how to draw it. He felt very proud when I showed him the video.

Key Competencies/Vision Principles
|
Angkor and Momo were effectively collaborating as they worked together to complete the learning activity they had created. Angkor began our learning adventure through his curious nature. While looking around our habitat he came across the bean bags and together we created the game. Momo and Angkor were both applying the Key Competencies of thinking, using language, symbols, and texts.
